Not much going on here today as far as scrap related. I have been planning my Daisy Troop meeting for tomorrow. It is the girls first “real” meeting and so I am reather anxious about it. Still have lots of stuff to do to get ready!!! Need to remember to take the camera with me to the meeting. 🙂

January Cover Contest: There’s Always a First Time! There’s a first time for everything! Share an important first in your life! It can be anything from the first time you held your baby to the first time you scrapped! We want to see those special memories! One layout will be published on the cover and receive a prize package. Top 10 finalists will be published in the article.
Discovery and Digital Discovery: if we have never published your work, send in three samples of work showcasing your unique style and you might be one of our latest Discoveries.
Five Senses of Inspiration —Inspiration for a fabulous scrapbook page can be found through all five of your senses. So, stop, look around you, take it all in and find inspiration in something you see, hear, taste, smell or touch. After that lightening bolt of inspiration hits you, create a layout, of any size, that incorporates elements drawn from your inspiration…but wait that’s not all! We also want to know about what inspired you, so don’t forget to give us the story behind your creation. If possible, we’d love you to show us your source of inspiration too.
Gridlock call –Whether you call it blocking or designing with a grid, this style of design provides endless opportunities for layouts. Share your favorite pages that build on the design grid.
Chipboard–This versatile material continues to be a favorite of scrappers. We want to see what you are doing with it–show us new and interesting ways to use plain chipboard or any of the versions out on the market today.
Baby, its cold outside!–Calling all winter layouts! We want to see your snowfall, snowflakes, snowmen–anything and everything that shows your winter wonderland.
Baby, its warm inside!–What do you do during the long winter months to stay warm with the family? Share your indoor activities with us.
